WahanaNews.co, Jogja - Pertumbuhan industri pengolahan nonmigas di Indonesia terus mengalami dinamika. Di tengah kondisi politik dan ekonomi global yang memberikan cukup banyak tekanan, industri manufaktur masih tetap mencatatkan capaian positif, yang menunjukkan optimisme serta kinerja yang berdaya saing.
Hingga Juni 2024, sektor manufaktur masih menunjukkan kinerja yang positif. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh Purchasing Manager’s Index (PMI) manufaktur Indonesia sebesar 50,7, artinya telah bertahan selama 34 bulan berturut-turut pada level ekspansif, jauh di atas tren rata-rata jangka panjang.

Namun demikian, sektor industri juga menghadapi tantangan yang dipengaruhi oleh dinamika ekonomi global, salah satunya adalah sektor industri tekstil dan produk tekstil (TPT) dan industri furnitur.
“Kementerian Perindustrian menaruh perhatian besar pada sektor industri TPT dan industri furnitur karena merupakan bagian dari sektor andalan yang menjadi prioritas pembangunan industri nasional, dan berkontribusi besar kepada penggerak perekonomian, serta perannya yang signifikan dalam penyerapan tenaga kerja,” ujar Menteri Perindustrian Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita dalam keterangannya di Jakarta, Senin (15/7).
Guna memacu kinerja industri TPT dan industri furnitur, Badan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Industri (BPSDMI) melakukan berbagai upaya dalam penyediaan tenaga kerja kompeten yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri saat ini. Langkah strategis tersebut melalui pelaksanaan pendidikan dan pelatihan vokasi yang link and match dengan industri.

“Melalui hasil diklat ini akan menjadi pendorong peningkatan produktivitas dan kinerja dari industrinya,” ujar Kepala BPSDMI, Masrokhan dalam pembukaan Diklat 3 in 1 sektor industri garmen, furnitur, dan produk kulit yang diselenggarakan Balai Diklat Industri (BDI) Yogyakarta, beberapa waktu lalu.
Total peserta yang mengikuti pelatihan di BDI Yogyakarta tersebut sebanyak 200 orang, yang meliputi 100 orang mengikuti pelatihan Operator Jahit Garmen. Sebanyak 50 orang akan ditempatkan bekerja di PT. Mataram Tunggal Garment di Kabupaten Sleman, dan 50 orang lainnya akan ditempatkan di PT. Anggun Kreasi Garmen di Kab. Bantul. Pelatihan yang berlangsung selama 14 hari ini bekerjasama dengan Asosiasi Pertekstilan Indonesia (API).
Selain itu, 50 peserta mengikuti pelatihan konstruksi furnitur selama sembilan hari, yang bekerjasama dengan Asosiasi Industri Permebelan dan Kerajinan Indonesia (Asmindo) serta Bongo Art. Kemudian, 50 peserta lainnya mengikuti pelatihan jahit produk kulit yang berlangsung selama 15 hari, yang menjalin kerja sama dengan Ikatek, Asosiasi Sarung Tangan Kulit (Astaku) dan PT. BMB di Kab. Bantul.
